What to Expect at the TCS Walk-in Interview?
The walk-in interview process at TCS is designed to assess your technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. Here’s a general breakdown of what you can expect:
Registration: Arrive early at the designated venue and complete the registration process. Bring your updated resume, academic certificates, and valid ID proof.

Role and Responsibility
4+ years of Java/J2EE experience.
Hands-on experience with Java 8/J2EE, Web services, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Proficiency in databases like MySQL, Oracle, etc.
Familiarity with Version Management Systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
Strong skills in requirement gathering, design, implementation, unit testing (JUnits), deployment, and maintenance.
Experience with ticketing applications.
Knowledge of UNIX, Shell scripts, etc., is a plus.
Ability to connect business drivers with successful BI solutions.
Critical thinking, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Location
India: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar, Delhi NCR (GGN/NDA), and Kochi are locations and this position falls under the Engineering – Software & QA department, focusing on software development.
